Goa : UID Aadhar Card – Enrollment Stations for UID Scheme

Chief Minister of Goa Mr Digambar Kamat on 15th July 2011, launched ‘Aadhar’-the unique identification number (UID) enrollment-for Goa at a function organized at Ravindra Bhavan in Margao. The Indian postal department, who are one of the registrars for the scheme’s enrollment, has identified 21 post offices to function as enrollment stations.

These are at Aldona, Alto Porvorim, Bicholim, Calangute, Mapusa, Panaji HPO, Pernem, Ponda, Sanquelim, Canacona, Secretariat, Valpoi, Chinchinim, Curchorem, Margao, Mormugao, Navelim, Quepem, Sanguem, Vasco and Zuarinagar.

As per the Indian Government directives toward AADHAR project across Indian states, so far in Goa state, resident of Goa is ready to obtain a 16 digit AADHAR (Unique Identification Number (UID)) by next year 2011, Unique Identification Number (UID) renamed to AADHAR, there were process of the data collection during the continuing survey operations that had been completed by May to September, 2010 in Goa.
