The Information and Broadcasting Ministry (I& B) has announced the Indian movies to be screened under the Indian Panorama section in the 41st International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held at Goa. Total list of 26 feature films and 19 non-feature films were announced by a 10-member jury headed by film maker N. Chandra. The jury reviewed 140 films over 20 days to arrive at the final list of movies.

This is the final list:

Hindi movies: Tere Bin Laden, I am Kalam, Wake Up Sid, Paa and 3 Idiots;

Malayalam movies: Mummy & Me, Makaramanju, Kaal Chilambu and Elektra.

Telugu movie: Prasthanam; Kannada movies: Kanasemba Kudureyaneri, Aidu Ondola Aidu and Shabari;

Tamil movies: Athma Kadha and Angadi Theru;

Movies screened at IFFI are given priority while sending Indian movies to international film festivals and award nominations. The 41st International Film Festival of India, to be held from 22nd November to 2nd December at Goa, is known as ‘Indian Cannes’ by film makers and movie buffs.
